Co-op Funeralcare Project

Posted on 8 October 2018

The Pacy & Wheatley Interiors team are incredibly proud to have begun work on the first of a potential nationwide roll out of works for Co-op Funeralcare. We've been hard at work on a 5-week project in Knaphill, stripping out an existing Italian restaurant and completely converting it into a new Co-op Funeralcare building.

It's a fantastic opportunity for Pacy & Wheatley Interiors, as the Co-operative Group is the largest consumer co-operative in the UK, and even one of the largest consumer co-operatives in the world!

The project in Knaphill involves installing completely new ceilings, flooring, electrics and new sanitary-ware throughout the new building. The whole building is also being fully internally and externally decorated, and new rooms are being installed, making the building completely unrecognisable from the former Italian restaurant, and a suitable location for the new Funeralcare building.

This is an exciting project for our team, as Co-op Funeralcare are the UK's number 1 funeral services provider. We're proud to be working with such a fantastic organisation, who help families and friends across the country create personal, sensitive services celebrating people's lives, and helping people say goodbye to their loved ones. The roll out of these projects has the potential for the Pacy & Wheatley Interiors team to be involved with the refurbishment of old, existing branches, as well as opening new branches in completely new locations - an exciting opportunity for the team!
