Interior Fit-Out for Sheffield Children’s Hospital

Pacy & Wheatley Interiors are proud to present our most recent healthcare interior fit-out project for Sheffield Children's Hospital. After a successful bid in a competitive procurement, we began to undertake a full strip and refurbishment to the Aseptic Unit and offices as part of a huge renovation project.

We were tasked with the construction of a new roof plant room, compromising of a new steel frame, SFS wall and floor construction, rock panel cladding and new flat roofing. As a construction and interiors company with a wealth of experience working in both live and healthcare environments, we know how important keeping noise and in-site traffic to a minimum is.

As a considerate contractor, strict measures were put in place by the site team to ensure everything was handled carefully, keeping noise to a minimum. Access in and out of the site was on a busy main road, just out of the city centre of Sheffield, so our team had to plan carefully and organise deliveries at specific times in the day to prevent any disruption to patients, staff and local businesses.
