Three Types of Retail Refurbishment

Posted on 13 February 2019

Pacy & Wheatley Interiors provide a huge variety of interior fit-out services across the UK. Our teams work mainly within the commercial sector, with a wide range of clients in retail. We don't just provide shopfitting services for these clients – every project we complete is different, with a full range of bespoke interior services. Here are just three types of interior design and refurbishment work we complete for retail clients across the country.

Shopfitting

Shopfitting is an incredibly important aspect of any retail interior work, vital to the success of almost any shop. Effective retail design is essential in maximising efficiencies, sales, and profit for your store. As one of the leading shopfitting companies in the country, we understand how important shopfitting can be for your business. Our team have extensive experience, designing a variety of retail interiors for a wide range of clients.

We provided complete interior fit out and shopfitting services for a new build Majestic Wine Warehouse in Wakefield. The client was extremely pleased with the end result, which was delivered on time and to budget. Click here to read more about the project.

Showroom Design

Showrooms are much different to traditional retail design, and can require an alternative approach when designing the interiors. Customers don't simply pick up a product and purchase it – products must be showcases as customers would use them, such as furniture set up in a living room or bedroom layout.

Our team have completed several showroom designs for our repeat client Magnet Kitchens across the country. These have ranged from smaller, city centre showrooms to larger, dedicated buildings, such as our fit out in Staffordshire. This was far from a typical fit out for the company, as the showroom had both a mezzanine floor and a mini mezzanine floor inside. This was the biggest Magnet Kitchens showroom in the UK, with a total of 22 kitchens being installed. Read more about the fit out on our Case Study page.

Rebranding

When you don't require a complete interior design or refurbishment, our rebranding services can keep your store looking fresh and modern. These services can involve new signage, new decoration and internal repairs, and are often completed in a very short timeframe.

We carried out rebranding services to a Tesco Express convenience store on a busy high street in Sidcup. Our team installed a full range of signage and provided full external and internal decoration. We also carried out a full internal clean, and minor repairs in the store. All works were carried out over a four-night period, out of hours, ensuring no disruption to business operations.
