Project Description

Pacy & Wheatley are delighted to announce we are currently working on another self storage facility in partnership with Arambol LLP in Bristol. This is a brand-new steel frame building which we have taken over as principal contractor to complete the internal finishes within a programme of 21 weeks.

The works include the installation of new mezzanine flooring, ceilings and partitions forming the new storage units, and completed with new decoration and flooring throughout. As part of our management role, we must coordinate with other contractors that are working directly for the client to ensure the installation of works such as electrical and mechanical, solar panel installation to the roof and the new lifts and staircases up to the second floor. Following the specification of previous self storage facilities we have completed for this client previously; a new state of the art reception area will be fitted out with automatic sliding doors for ease of access for customers and new security and fire alarm systems fitted throughout the building.

We are currently on week 8 and the new wall partitions are going up as we continue working closely with the electrical contractors as they complete their first fix, and the installation of the lifts begins this week now the fire rated walls to the shafts are completed. Decoration to commence from next week (August 26th). All works are slightly ahead of schedule in readiness for full contract completion in mid-December
