- Client: Co-op Funeralcare
- Location: Knaphill, Surrey
Pacy & Wheatley Interiors have started a new set of work projects for Co-op Funeralcare, with a 5-week interior strip out and renovation in Surrey. This is a very exciting opportunity for the Interiors team, as the Co-op Group is the largest consumer co-operative in the UK – and one of the largest in the world! Co-op Funeralcare is also the number 1 funeral services provider in the UK, creating personal, sensitive ways of saying goodbye to our loved ones. The first project is in Knaphill, working on a former restaurant and converting it into a funeral parlour.
This is the very first project in a potential roll out for Co-op Funeralcare projects. The building was formerly an Italian restaurant, which is being converted by our team into a Funeralcare building. We are installing new ceilings, new flooring, new electrics and new sanitary-ware throughout the building, and the whole building is being fully decorated, both internally and externally. We are also installing new rooms, one of which is a cold room.
This is a very exciting new roll out for us, with the potential to refurbish old existing branches, as well as opening new branches in new locations.
