Leisure refurbishment, Suffolk

Pacy & Wheatley Interiors has completed a full interior fit-out at Centre Parcs in Elveden Forest. The fit-out formed the biggest Pancake House restaurant across all Centre Parcs resorts, which now seats 344 compared to 212.

Works include a new dining area, toilets, children’s soft play area, kitchen installed with all new commercial equipment, and Centre Parcs' infamous pancake wheel. New ceilings and lighting have also been installed, along with new leather seating booths and a meet and greet section. New flooring has been laid within the restaurant area and sections of the back of the house. Alterations to the existing mechanical services have taken place to facilitate the introduction of the new amenities. We have also conducted works externally, forming new pathways and fencing creating outside seating positioned to look over the lake.

This was the first Pancake House Pacy & Wheatley had completed for Centre Parc, which was followed by negotiating and completing another at Longleat Forest in Wiltshire.

The solution achieved was a much brighter, more colourful restaurant area and upgraded facilities, resulting in the park being able to cater to more people and for all diets. The client was delighted with the result, and the work was completed on time and within budget.
