Interior Refurbishments to Rotherham School

Interior refurbishments have begun at the Rowan Centre, Rawmarsh!

The Rowan Centre is a school in Rawmarsh, Rotherham, providing education for 7 to 16-year-old students. The school provides vital Key Stage 1 – 4 education to students who are unable to attend school for a variety of health reasons. It's a fantastic initiative, providing a great opportunity for students to continue their education in a safe, supportive environment. The Pacy & Wheatley Interiors team have started interior refurbishment and external works to the school, in an effort to provide a more welcoming educational environment.

There are three separate sections of the school being refurbished – the Nursery, the Portage Centre and the school's reception. Our team will be carrying out external works to each of these areas, installing a new roof to the three sections of the school we are working on.

Internally, our team are installing all new lighting, new ceilings, new flooring and decoration to make the spaces a brighter, more welcoming environment for the education of the young people. We are also installing new doors and cupboards to the areas, as well as new toilets and wash room facilities.

So far, we have completed all interior strip outs and commenced the interior works. We'll have more information about the project at the Rowan Centre in the upcoming weeks.
