The Project
The full brief on this project was to complete a full internal fit-out of the new building. This is a major Medical centre encompassing Dentistry suites as well as relaxation areas and numerous modern private suites. P&W carried out the full internal fit, which included M&E, Flooring, Decoration, Joinery installation and a small amount of minor external works. This project took over 8 months to complete.

The Challenge
The challenges on this project were many; firstly, this Medical centre was situated next to a primary school and located on a very busy road in South London. Deliveries to the site, which were numerous, had to be coordinated and could only be made at specific times once the Children were in School. We also had to close the road off a few times when we had a Crane in situ to lift the air-handling units onto the Medical Centre roof.
This in itself was extremely challenging and took a lot of time to get the necessary permits in place. However, these issues were overcome, and all is now completed. The NHS team has taken occupation of the building, and it is now in full operation. A project which we at P&W are extremely pleased with, despite our operational difficulties, and the feedback from the NHS team on site has been very positive. This project presented many health and safety challenges, but was managed efficiently by the management and site team. A massive well done to all involved in delivering this major high-profile project.
