The Project

Pacy & Wheatley Interiors have completed a new interior strip-out and refurbishment project for Co-op Funeral care in Knaphill, Surrey. This is a very exciting opportunity for Pacy & Wheatley’s Interiors team, as the Co-op Group is the largest consumer co-operative in the UK – and one of the largest in the world! Co-op Funeral care is also the number 1 funeral services provider in the UK, creating personal, sensitive ways of saying goodbye to our loved ones. The first project is in Knaphill, working on a former restaurant and converting it into a funeral parlour. This is the first project in a potential rollout for Co-op funeral care projects. The building was formerly an Italian restaurant, which has been converted by our team into a funeral care building. We have installed new ceilings, new flooring, new electrics and sanitary ware throughout the building, and the whole building has been fully decorated, both internally and externally. We also installed new partitions to form additional rooms, one of which is a cold room. This is a very exciting new rollout for us, with the potential to refurbish old existing branches, as well as open new branches in new locations.
