The Project
Pacy & Wheatley have worked closely with RMBC In order to provide a civic theatre refurbishment to the existing dated building. Rotherham Civic Theatre is a converted church building that now serves as a gorgeous theatre, hosting a variety of theatrical performances such as dance, drama and musicals. As a result, maintaining the exterior aesthetic of the heritage building whilst also providing it with refurbishment and refitting was a must. Throughout the project’s duration, we have installed a new bar, new refreshment area, and provided the front of house areas with updated lighting, floor finishes, and decoration. We also decorated it externally in order to revive the external windows and fascias of the building.
The Solution
There has been a major improvement to the public area facilities, with the overall look and feel of the civic theatre’s front and bar areas being lighter, brighter and more comfortable for the visiting theatre-goer to enjoy.
